According to a 1998 Babcock Graduate School of Management survey taken of congressional staffers, 59% stated that grassroots campaign were the most effective method of influencing legislation.  The Ohio Farm Bureau Federation understands the importance of membership involvement during the legislative process.  

•    Within this Action Center, you will be able to find learn about all of the grassroots campaign currently being undertaken by OFBF and its members.  Please reference the Current Action Alerts to learn more about the campaigns in which you can become involved.

•    In a survey of Congressmen, the Gallup Organization in conjunction with Bonner and & Associates found the most effective way to influence legislation is direct communication from a constituent.  The Find Your Legislator page makes it easy for you to find the contact information for all your state and federal elected officials.  

•    Completing the form on the Sign Up for Action Alerts page you will be placed on a list to receive action request from OFBF.  This is the best way for you to stay up to date one current grassroots campaigns.
